Why a crow for a logo?
Betty (that’s her name) is representative of American Gothic folklore. The crow is an ubiquitous bird in the Midwest, and also the most intelligent bird. Betty is also shown bringing “Nesting Materials for the Great American Home.”
Do you have a catalog?
We currently do not have a catalog. We think it is more environmentally responsible to use the power of the web.
Where do you find the vintage pieces?
The pieces are found in foundries, factories and barns; the item is then repurposed into furniture.
Do you have gift cards?
Yes, we have gift cards for any amount you wish.
How much furniture do you have on your showroom floor? Do you keep things in stock?
Our showroom has grown over the years and we do our best to keep it filled and fresh. Everything can be bought right off the floor and most things can be ordered.
If I live out of state (Ohio) am I charged sales tax?
We are required to collect sales tax on Ohio residents. Please check your state tax collection agency for requirements.
Can I pick up my furniture?
You are welcome to pick-up any purchased item(s) from the store. Because sometimes we aren’t equipped to load heavy items, we ask you to please bring help to load heavier furniture.
Can I buy off the floor?
We encourage it!
How long do orders take?
Everything on the web should be in stock. If we are out of stock the lead time is 4-6 weeks.
How long do orders take?
Simple cleaning with a soft damp cloth and wipe dry. Cleaners with ammonia are not recommended. For added protection, apply our furniture wax with a soft cloth 2-3 times a year.
Our furniture is meant to last a lifetime and we guarantee its craftsmanship and integrity. Should there be a manufacturing error it will be repaired or replaced.
